User Guide

1. Camera Settings (Top of Left Panel)

  • Orientation (Landscape/Portrait): Switch the viewfinder orientation to match your shooting style.
  • Sensor Size: Select your camera model. The crop factor and 35mm equivalent focal length are automatically calculated based on the selected size.
  • Focal Length: Adjustable via slider from 5mm ultra-wide to 3000mm super-telephoto.

2. Subject & Distance (Bottom of Left Panel)

  • Subject: Select a subject to establish the size reference (person, house, bird, moon).
  • Distance: Adjust the distance to the subject.
    • *When selecting “Moon,” the distance is automatically fixed to the average distance from Earth (approximately 384,000 km).

3. Information Panel (Bottom of Right Panel)

The following values are displayed in real time as simulation results.

  • 35mm Equivalent: The focal length when converted to a full-frame camera.
  • Crop Factor: The magnification factor based on sensor size (diagonal basis).
  • Horizontal Angle of View: The angle captured horizontally across the frame.
  • Shooting Magnification: The ratio of the image size projected onto the sensor.
